Material Handler/Forklift Operator
Compensation is $21+ per hour, based on experience. Additional compensation available based on performance.
The Job:
- Work in lumber yard/warehouse setting
- Operate powered industrial lift truck (forklift) to unload and load building materials
- Move materials to and from flat-bed trailers, storage areas, and production machines
- Maintain production schedule or shipping orders
- Transport materials around the facility
- Ensure loads are secure
- Perform daily equipment checks and routine maintenance such as recharging the battery and lubricating equipment
- Examine/inspect products to verify quality standards conformance
Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and database applications helpful
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced/demanding environment
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Must be a detail-oriented, hardworking, motivated self-starter
- Background checks are required
